One month…

Today, April 13th 2013 marks one month from the time my father took his last breath, the time  he was with us till 11:00am, the time before he started towards his eternal journey.

A journey which he probably knew that it was coming, but for us, we were taken aback by surprise.

If I look back from today’s date to think what exactly happened on March 13 2013, it seemed like my father knew his time was coming up and he only had one hour to leave this world, leave all his belongings and his loved ones to start his eternal journey towards heaven.

A journey, where your name gets called upon, and you have to start immediately.
A journey, where there is no visa or passport required, there’s no form of modern communication, no phone calls, e-mails or SMS, and not to mention facebook or twitter.

The only way you can relay any messages ever is through prayers. The only way you can receive a confirmation if they ever appear in your dreams to convey something.

When I wake up in the morning, while I am driving or when I get home from work, I always feel that he’s around, but only he can see us, and we can feel his presence in our hearts and physical absence in our world.

Once again, I thank each and everyone for their support, for being there when I needed you the most, and Aameen for your prayers and for praying with us.
